The ever changing and upbeat lifestyle has impacted parents and children relationship in certain ways. Even so, our project will be able to help enhance parents’ and children relationship in scrutinizing child’s where about especially when it will be implemented in Republic Polytechnic (RP) itself. Attendance viewing will enable parents to know child’s attendance with simplified accessibility of SMS which will not require any effort and energy. Also, it is to the convenience of parents without having to come by to RP itself to monitor their child’s attendance.
With the modern technology, we are able to find a SMS system which will help us to further continue with our project scope. Ozeki is ideal SMS gateway software which will help to create SMS services. It provides the highest performance, availability and security to run the most demanding SMS applications. Besides just sending SMS to check on their child’s attendance, parents will receive an auto-reply in confirming their attendance status.
This immediate response would ease the parents’ worries. Not to mention the rapport the school has with the parents themselves as this is a mode of communication to interact with parents.
Project is being implemented by imparting the knowledge we’ve learnt in our previous semesters and also to include the usage of PHP, HTML, SQL, OZEKI (SMS software) and ITEQNO(the modem) itself.
Thus, with these features it adds on to the advantages and benefits for parents, student and even school. Republic Polytechnic would later gain recognition for having the highest percentage of Students coming to school regularly with this system implemented.
